Xena's Aguacate Sauce
from restaurant Xena- not around anymore...


6 fresh tomatillos
pulp from 3 avocados
1/2 cup chopped cilantro (more, less to taste)
1/4 of a fresh, small poblano pepper (more to taste)
4 large leaves fresh spinach
3/4 - 1 cup water
1 t. salt (to taste)
1 t. ground comino (to taste)
1 t. vegetable base (optional)

Place all ingredients in blender (smoother results than food processor). Blend until smooth and cilantro/spinach are small specks. (This can be prepared a few hours in advance. Refrigerate.) Serve hot or cold. This is good on lots of other things too!
